MODERN DAY SLAVERY GUIDELINES POLICY

With our globally certified, holistically integrated range of fire solutions, the company is amongst the rarest in the world to have such a diverse product portfolio as part of one ecosystem that is protecting millions of lives across the globe.

The company is dedicated to making sure that neither modern slavery nor human trafficking exists in any aspect of our operations. Our Anti-Slavery Policy displays our dedication to acting morally and honourably in all of our business dealings as well as to putting in place and upholding efficient procedures and controls to make sure slavery and human trafficking don't occur anywhere in our organisation or business.

Slavery and human trafficking are intolerable to us in any way. Employees, business partners, and contractors who are a part of Ceasefire’s supply chain are all expected to uphold our principles. Compliance to this is also ensured with all our supplier organisations.

METICULOUS PROCESSES FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND SLAVERY

As part of Ceasefire’s effort to recognise and reduce the risk of human trafficking and slavery, the following steps are taken:

  • Identification and evaluation of potential risk areas for our business and the people connected to us.

  • Wherever possible, we establish long-lasting connections with employees, trade partners, and suppliers and make explicit our expectations of business behaviour.

TRAINING

Ceasefire shall train the appropriate staff members so that they are well-versed in the dangers of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and operations.

TAKING STEPS TOWARDS ENDING HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND SLAVERY

Through the following methods, we assess how well we have done in preventing slavery and human trafficking from occurring anywhere within our company:

  • Use of labour inspection and workforce systems;

  • Dialogue and individual interaction with employees, partners & contractors and their understanding of, and compliance with, our expectations.

 

Everyone who works for or on behalf of Ceasefire, in any capacity, is subject to this policy. Employees, agency workers, temporary employees, agents, contractors, outside consultants, third-party representatives, and business partners are all included in this, although they are not the only ones.

This policy is subject to change at any time, and it is not a clause in any employee's employment contract and is made in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
