Delivery Guidelines

1. General

1.1 The company reserves the right to change the delivery policy after internal discussions and a 2-week notice would be given for any changes made to the policy.

1.2 All the prices in the delivery price guidelines are exclusive of VAT.

1.3 Ceasefire strives to dispatch all orders on the same day for next-day delivery. Cut-off times apply as mentioned above. Please plan the installations and further supply of goods in advance so that there is no last minute hassle caused to the end customers.

1.4 The buyer may share any special delivery instructions while placing the order. Buyer would be responsible for any losses suffered as a result of a parcel being left at the specific requested location.

1.5 Ceasefire would ask Buyer to please check the condition of the package before signing for the receipt of the goods. If buyer sees any damage on the outer packaging, this must be noted on the delivery note copy and the copy for the carrier. The buyer can refuse damaged parcels without signing for them.

1.6 If buyer finds the transport damaged after the carrier has left, please inform ceasefire’s team instantly. If the claim is made on the same day as the delivery, ceasefire will still accept liability. Failure to note damage might affect a replacement or refund from Ceasefire for items damaged in transit.

1.7 Delivery will be one attempt only; if goods are returned to Ceasefire, an additional charge for to and fro may be levied for re-delivery.

1.8 Ceasefire request the buyer to please plan their further deliveries and installations to their customer only once they have receive the goods in their hand. In any case, the company will not be liable for the delayed delivery of goods, and cancellation and delaying of further orders.


2. Dated stock orders

Delivery charges for the dated stock orders would be charged as per the following matrix:

2.1 Orders totalling £0 - £499: Delivery charges apply.

2.2 Orders totalling £500 or more: Standard UK mainland delivery is free of charge.

3. Delays

3.1 Ceasefire will notify the buyer on the same day of delivery, if there are any issues with deliveries and will advise of the next steps.

3.2 All delays up to the delivery parameters given upon order will not be chargeable to you in the cases of carrier delays or delay in dispatches from the company.

3.2 Unfortunately, Ceasefire cannot offer compensation for deliveries that are delayed.

4. Limitations/Liability

4.1 On the day of delivery, if any issue arises that is out of Company’s control or that of the carrier, the company reserves the right to apply all extra re-delivery costs and unloading costs, even after the delivery of goods.

4.2 These additional costs will be communicated after the delivery of the order with the buyer (the customer) and will be charged as a separate delivery cost, as per the delivery costing matrix mentioned above.

5. Returns/Defective

5.1 All customer returns/defective stock to be notified to a member of company within two working days of the receipt of the order.

5.2 Returns should be sent back to Company’s warehouse within 7 days of the receipt of the order.

5.3 All return delivery costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

5.4 If the buyer cannot return the goods, then Ceasefire will organise a collection, but the relevant costs will be charged out separately or taken off from the refund after the receipt of the returns.

5.5 When returning the goods, please pack them in the original packaging. The items must be in a re-sellable condition to be eligible for the refund. Products must not have been used.

Should items not be returned in the original packaging or in a re-sellable condition then Company shall reduce the value of the refund to reflect the fact the product may have to be sold as incomplete, damaged or that it may not be sellable at all?

5.6 Any claims of missing items or unsuitable for use shall be notified in writing to Ceasefire within 3 working days.

5.7 If Ceasefire agree to accept any such goods for return the buyer shall be liable to pay a restocking charge of 30% of the invoice price. Such goods must be returned by the buyer, carriage paid to our warehouse in their original and unmarked boxes and cases.

5.8 Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the Seller’s negligence, the Seller shall not be liable to the Buyer by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent) or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the Contract, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by the negligence of the Seller, its employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the Goods or their use or resale by the Buyer, and the entire liability of the Seller under or in connection with the Contract shall not exceed the price of the Goods, except as expressly provided by the Conditions.


6. Refunds

6.1 All refunds if required will only be applied once the goods have been received back at Ceasefire’s warehouse.

6.2 If Goods are defective or damaged, then, at point of notification of concern a description of issue and pictures relating to the goods can be supplied, then a short term investigation will be undertaken and a refund will be applied within 3 days of the raise of concern.

6.3 If (6.2) is not applicable, then a refund will only be applied upon receipt of goods at Ceasefire’s warehouse, and company will undertake an investigation within 2 days of receipt of returns.

7. Force Majeure

7.1 In exceptional, unavoidable circumstances of extreme weather, then if a delay in despatch or delay in delivery occurs, this will be communicated within 1 working day of acknowledgement of order and original delivery costs as per the table above will still apply and no further costs will be applicable.
