1. Our Commitment

Ceasefire Industries UK Ltd is committed to conducting all operations in a manner that protects the environment, prevents pollution, and supports the transition to safer, more sustainable fire-protection technologies.

We recognise our responsibility to minimise environmental impact across our operations, supply chain, product lifecycle, transportation activities, and service delivery.

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and activities undertaken by Ceasefire.co.uk  within the United Kingdom.

 

2. Environmental Objectives

We are committed to:

  • Reducing waste and increasing recycling across all operations

  • Minimising energy consumption and improving operational efficiency

  • Reducing unnecessary consumption of paper, water, fuel, packaging, and other natural resources

  • Reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with operations, transportation, and supply chain activities

  • Reducing the environmental impact of fire-safety products supplied, installed, or maintained

  • Promoting extinguishing agents with zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and low GWP (Global Warming Potential) wherever operationally appropriate

  • Preventing pollution through safe handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of extinguishing media and associated materials

  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable UK environmental legislation and relevant industry standards

  • Continually improving environmental performance through measurable objectives and regular review

3. Product & Supply Chain Responsibility

​

We will:

  • Prioritise fire-safety products that meet recognised environmental and quality standards, including EN3, PED, and ISO requirements

  • Promote alternatives to high-impact agents such as legacy foams and high-GWP gases

  • Work with suppliers and partners who demonstrate responsible manufacturing, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance

  • Consider environmental impact as part of purchasing decisions, including packaging, recyclability, durability, transport efficiency, and responsible sourcing

  • Ensure end-of-life extinguishers, cylinders, electrical components, and related materials are recycled or disposed of through licensed waste-management partners

  • Encourage responsible environmental practices throughout the supply chain

4. Operational Controls

​

To reduce our operational footprint, we will:

  • Implement energy-efficient practices across offices, warehouses, and operational facilities

  • Reduce single-use packaging and transition to recyclable or reusable materials where practical

  • Maintain spill-prevention and emergency-response procedures for extinguishing agents and hazardous materials

  • Ensure all technicians and contractors follow environmental best practices during installation, servicing, maintenance, and disposal activities

 

5. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

Ceasefire Industries UK Ltd will comply with all applicable environmental legislation, regulations, and relevant industry requirements, including but not limited to:

  • UK Environmental Protection legislation

  • Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations

  • Hazardous Waste Regulations

  • F-Gas Regulations (where applicable)

  • ISO 14001 environmental management principles

We will monitor legislative and regulatory developments and update our practices and procedures accordingly.

6. Training & Awareness

We will ensure employees and contractors:

  • Understand their environmental responsibilities

  • Receive appropriate training on the safe handling, transportation, and disposal of extinguishing agents and hazardous materials

  • Are aware of the environmental impacts associated with their work activities

  • Support pollution prevention and waste-reduction initiatives

  • Contribute to continuous environmental improvement across the business

  • Monitoring environmental risks associated with our activities
